Melbourne vs Brisbane
Looks like Brisbane is getting its revenge on Melbourne.
Late in 2008 Melbourne lord mayor Robert Doyle famously labeled greater Brisbane as, "almost a contradiction in terms." Now it looks like those Brisbane-ites have snuck into Melbourne in the dark of night and extracted their revenge.
This photograph was snapped on Queen Street in Melbourne's 'heart' last night. Sightings of this sticker have also been made on Elizabeth Street, and no doubt it is located in many other areas of the CBD. Of course, BNE is the airport code for none other than rival city, Brisbane.
Oh, the troubles that Mayor Doyle will bring on this heart-filled city! No doubt his comments on Adelaide and Sydney will also come back to haunt Melbourne.
Watch out for a three way BNE/SYD/ADL revenge. Can Melbourne withstand such an onslaught?

Further research has proven that Brisbane is in fact not only seeking revenge on Melbourne, but has actually been holding a grudge on most major metropolitan cities across the world since 2006. Photos of Brisbane's rampant worldwide campaign can be found in the BNE Flickr group
